UB provides security awareness training to all employees. Participate and get to know about the latest cybersecurity malpractices and how to avoid them.
Monitor Activity
Always monitor your account activity by visiting My Account and check for any unusual sign-in attempts or devices that you don’t recognize.
Stay Informed
Our IT department will keep you posted on important updates to our environments, such as changes to applications, security access etc., Stay tuned.
Use MFA
MFA is strongly recommended and for some applications, it is required. Visit your My Account to setup your sign in methods for MFA.
Report Incidents
If you see any spam or phishing incident, or you think your UB account or other’s seems compromised, do not wait. Report the incident to Helpdesk immediately.
Don’t Share
Never share your credentials or any MFA codes to other users. Our Helpdesk will never ask for your MFA codes or ask you to approve a login attempt to your account.
